FAQ's

What is Digital Marketing?

Digital Marketing is the term used to describe marketing via the internet and electronic devices such as your PC, phone or tablet.  It encompasses various elements including organic search, paid advertising, social media, content marketing and PR.

What is SEO?

SEO stands for search engine optimisation.  It’s all about helping clients achieve their online objectives, usually by attracting more site visitors through search engines like Google and Bing. Then encouraging and guiding the visitor to complete the desired action, such as placing an online order, completing an enquiry form or calling the company.

My industry is very competitive, is there hope?

In short yes! We would work with you to understand your USP’s, from there we conduct keyword research to find niche terms which match your exact offering and don’t have too much competition.  Longer term we can also begin to target the more competitive terms too.

How do you optimise a website?

Unfortunately that’s a bit like asking a lawyer how they win a case.  Each one is very different and we use a range of techniques depending on what’s wrong with the clients site, what their competition is like and what they want to achieve.  You can read more about our SEO Services and the specific tasks which may be required.

My website load speed is slow, will this have an impact on my ranks?

Usually yes, it depends how slow it is, but the search engines favour fast sites, especially for mobile searches.  It can usually be improved fairly easily though, as long as we/you have access to the back end of the website and hosting control panel.  You can read more about WordPress website speed or give us a call to discuss your options.

What does it Cost?

We charge on a very reasonable daily rate, SEO campaigns tend to be a regular amount of time each month, or sometimes just an hourly charge if a single job needs completing. Whereas, web design is quoted at a price to complete the job.
